disappointed

The quality has dropped enormously on this type of product, because after the first wash this fleece found itself completely deformed and impossible to wear. The seam on one shoulder shrank and created a sort of "beak", resulting in a lack of fabric between the collar and the shoulder seam...it ended up in recycling a week after purchase. I strongly advise against it.

Good quality for cold places

I bought it for a trip to Finland in February.

Open, it is more functional; light, with pockets, they help a lot on the walk, white, white to lighten the mind, warm, good choice.

product that has dropped significantly in quality

I kept my old fleeces for years with many, many washes, they never moved, I wanted to renew one of them with this model, 2 remarks for the designers: 1/ the fleece fabric is of poor quality and looks has papier maché 2/ after a few days of use and not even a single wash, the finishing braid at the bottom of the sleeve is already unraveling, the thread breaks due to friction, the poor quality fleece fabric does not allow it to be sewn correctly in the braid, the repair seam can only be temporary, it will never hold: the sleeves of the old models were simply topstitched with a small, basic and solid hem, this braid brings nothing except a point of weakness, in conclusion product for very temporary use and city use, in no case for sport or hiking

Fleece jacket pleasant to…

Fleece jacket pleasant to wear. Small downside on the elastics on the wrist. When you roll up the sleeves it's much too useful

Even if this fleece...

Even if this fleece suits me for its quality-price ratio, I previously had a Decathlon "feather" fleece which, unfortunately, lost its feathers, among other things, on the seats of my car... but I found it more pleasant to wear. But the lining of the one I just bought is thinner and looks a bit "rag". Additionally, there are no interior pockets. So I'm a little disappointed but I would still buy it if necessary, to avoid feathers everywhere... Too bad not to have made the same fleece without feathers inside!

Additional Product Information

Composition

Main fabric: 100.0% Polyester ; Lining: 100.0% Polyester

Cut

This fleece jacket has a fitted cut, without being too close to the body. We recommend you wear a technical undergarment, in direct contact with the skin, to be better protected from the cold. It has also been designed to be worn just underneath our windproof/waterproof jackets like the women’s MH100.Choose your usual size.

How does the material insulate you from the cold?

The fleece component is designed to trap air in the space formed by its texture (qualified as ”brushed fleece” when it is made of pile fabric); this air acts as a natural insulator, keeping the body warm.

How is warmth measured?

2 types of tests are carried out to measure the warmth level of our fleeces:- a material test - a test on a thermal dummy in a thermal chamber. Here, we reproduce the temperature, wind (5 km/h) and humidity conditions you encounter in the mountains during a 5 km/h walkThese tests are used to validate our design choices, and everything is then validated by field testers. This fleece has a comfort temperature between 7 and 10°C (without a jacket on top).

Why choose recycled polyester?

By recycling plastic bottles or second-hand textiles to produce our polyester, we have reduced the utilisation of oil-based resources while preserving the quality and performance of the material during your mountain hikes. The white model is made from 100% recycled polyester and the grey model from 25% recycled polyester.

Our commitment to consume less water with this product

Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce our environmental impact, we use a mass pigmentation process that involves adding the colour pigments when the yarn itself is produced. This is applicable for our white and black models.

How is durability tested?

We test the ageing of our hiking fleeces to guarantee their durability. We guarantee:- resistance to wear from backpacks and moving arms to delay the appearance of pilling- the solidity of seams- the durability of the fleece material after washing - colour-fastness after washing, against UV rays or in contact with perspiration.
