Product Customer Reviews
A little small though.
Very good pacraft. Its weight of approximately 2 kg places it in the light category. When buying it, you should be aware of what it is intended for and what limitations it has. Comparisons with a kayak, especially in terms of performance, are a dead end. I bought 2 pieces for myself and my wife. We did a 10 km river rafting, after which I packed everything into my backpack and returned to the car along the forest route. I had about 6-7 kg on my back (paddles + oar + camping gear), everything went smoothly and quickly. I inflate Pacrafts with a pump for air mattresses (this little thing from Ali). The equipment is durable and stable. It's nice to swim if there is a current, sometimes you have to "fight" a bit to avoid drifting, for example, into an obstacle, but it gives a lot of satisfaction. I recommend watching videos of this pacraft before purchasing, there are plenty of them on the Internet. In my opinion, a very good product at a reasonable price, especially since these "inflatables" are not cheap "toys", they can cost much more in other stores than those from "Deca".
I bought it as a set with the paddle because it was 10x points on Rakuten. Purpose of purchase is for fishing. When it arrived, I thought the paddle had arrived first because it was so light. I test drove it at the lake and the sea. Since the load capacity is 110kg, we tried riding it with two people (43kg︎︎♀ and 56kg♂ + luggage) without sinking. There is no problem with the strength, and a reinforcing sheet is also included, so you can be prepared for any emergencies. It's cheaper and easier to get than the famous ○Kopelli, and best of all, it's lighter. The design is stylish and I like it better. If I had one complaint, it would be that the length of the band that secures it when storing it is too short... It is so short that it cannot be tightened or loosened, and it cannot be fastened until it is compressed and rolled up with force. I tried it out and liked it, so I wanted to buy one for my second child, but it was sold out on Rakuten. Fortunately, it was still available on the official website, so I hurriedly bought another one.
Ideal for short walks and fishing sessions (be careful of the hooks though) on the Marne which is truly magnificent over the water! possibility of carrying a waterproof bag and attaching it to the packraft in case of overturning! Very good value for money, I recommend it for those who want to start the packraft activity. Buoyancy aid required! ;)
The product is very good, but it depends on what you want to use it for. For flat waters or streams with difficulty up to grade I: flat water or very light current, it's fine, it's an excellent purchase. I can allow myself to suggest it by pushing, for those who are at least experienced, even up to level II difficulty: tight currents and few obstacles. If you intend to descend streams with difficulty III or higher, it is not the right item. Let me explain: its big limitation is not so much in its grip or in withstanding impacts with rocks, but in the fact that it is not self-draining. I have other self-draining tires and it's a completely different matter. Since the packraft is not self-emptying, in fact, in rapids of medium difficulty it invariably fills with water up to the edge, water that does not come out of the packraft unless you reach the shore, go down and empty it. Otherwise it remains full of water and very difficult to manoeuvre, in the sense that it certainly doesn't sink, but making it change direction becomes a real challenge and the descent will no longer be fun but a gamble. I tried to descend the Lima in Tuscany with difficulty III, I finally got there, but I certainly won't try again. I would add: I also tried it at the seaside without problems, although perhaps it is better to rinse it with fresh water at the end of the day. Conclusions: excellent product and excellent value for money within the limits for which it was conceived and proposed by Decathlon, beyond these limits it is certainly advisable to move towards different objects
Having used it to descend the Herault I must say that I am very surprised by the robustness of this packraft! With a 20 kg bag and a body weight of 80 kg he perfectly withstood currents exceeding his capacities, despite the shocks he remained intact. Very practical and relatively comfortable.
Packraft is light and relatively roomy. You put 2kg in your backpack and you have a mobile boat with you. It's definitely not a speed demon, but it wasn't created with that in mind - it's supposed to be light and inexpensive equipment for a not very advanced user. In my opinion, a very nice product.
Very practical because you can always take it with you. I am very satisfied
Great products value for money, having already tested “top of the range” sincerely top
I have already gone sailing with this a few times, from small river arms to large rivers with obstacles and currents. He is solid, provides sufficient support & survived every adventure in style. In my group, people sailed with boats that were easily twice as expensive... and that didn't seem like a disadvantage. I bought two of these.
Świetny packraft na bagna i małe rzeki. Ja uzywam go nad rozlewiskami. Przyczepiony do 10 litrowego plecaka nie stanowi problemów przy dłuższych wędrówkach
It does not take up space, is lightweight and very practical to use. It dries quickly, just wipe it with a towel. Its performance at sea is not bad either.
Light and small pontoon. Perfect for a lazy day. Very slow and mega torsion. It's a huge minus. it would be useful to add fins to improve controllability. I have no problem with my 3 year old. As a start and to use it once in a while, it's a great solution.
Small packraft very pleasant to use. The pump bag is really a great idea. If like me you are 1.90m tall you have the maximum height to use it
It is not white water wignet. But a tour on the low mountain range river is fine. The material is stable and can sometimes make contact with the ground with a stone without anything happening. The light weight is really impressive

Why go packrafting?
Packrafts are an adventure in waiting for those passionate about outdoor sports. This experience brings together at least two sports and allows you to vary your activities and enjoy the landscapes between the ascent and the descent differently.Tour on foot or by bike, for one or several days, you will reconnect with nature and enjoy it as much as possible!
What is the difference between rafting and packrafting?
Rafting and packrafting can be enjoyed on rivers with a varying number of rapids. In rafting, you are in a team on the same craft, and you steer the raft with a simple paddle (canoe style) and head downriver. In packrafting, you head upstream and then paddle downriver in your packraft (we recommend that you stay together as a group, and use a double paddle (kayak-style).The packraft stands alone and weighs only 4.4lb.
How was the design worked?
A packraft in the colours found in river scenery to allow you to have an immersive experience. For safety reasons, the orange allows you to remain visible at all times and to be tracked on the water. The Itiwit teams have created different prototypes in order to test the different shapes and provide you with maximum manoeuvrability and good stability. In the interest of compactness, the packraft only has the essentials so that it can keep up with you on all your adventures.
How to inflate the packraft?
Connect the tube to the valve of the packraft as well as to the valve of the inflation bag. Open the bag fully to trap a maximum amount of air. Close the top of the bag and roll it to allow the air to pass into the raft. You can press it with your knees to help. The packraft is sufficiently inflated when you can no longer inflate it with the bag. Use the same technique to inflate your seat.
What does the kayak bag contain?
The pack includes:-The “pump bag”: storage bag which is also the bag which will help you to inflate the packraft- the tube- the packraft- the seat- a repair kit
Safety on the water
Remember to use an ISO 12402-5 buoyancy aid vest and an EN 1484 helmet when you head out onto rivers.
