Probably not for the summer though

I was looking for good socks for the summer, for shoes with a membrane, I was recommended these, but they will probably be too warm in the summer, because they are already quite warm in spring.

I had already purchased…

I had already bought less elaborate models from the same brand and these are really good. They remain in good shape after use, even after the machine (unlike the old ones which folded in on themselves). After a day of hiking in the snow, I had no blisters or wet feet (test with 3 pairs over 3 days, 14-8-12km). They absorb movement and humidity well. I didn't feel cold despite the trip without snowshoes. I will buy it again with my next purchase, or with my loyalty points.

Not bad but doesn't prevent odors

Product that does the job. But two pairs of socks over 5 days of roaming hiking, that's a blast!!!

At the first use I noticed better comfort compared to the 500 and 520 models, they are less tight and they seem lighter to me, in these hot days, I noticed a drier and less humid foot. I mainly use these socks every day, with high safety work shoes, at the gym, for going out and for doing activities. Even during the enlistment period I always used these models, and in all the training, and in all the trekking, I never got any blisters or scrapes.

Overall a little narrow but good

Comfort and good support…

Comfort and good support in the shoe. I regret the lack of reinforcements at the midfoot level present on old models.

Additional Product Information

Composition

Socks: 7.0% Polypropylene, 66.0% Polyamide, 5.0% Polyester, 4.0% Elastane, 18.0% Wool

Pack of 2 pairs

This model is sold in packs of 2 pairs of socks of the same colour.

Reducing the risk of chafing

We have selected a technical yarn with a specific coating (PTFE) at the heel and toe to reduce rubbing and therefore the risk of blisters. In no circumstances do these socks provide 100% protection from blisters. Blisters usually appear when our skin is weakened by chafing, generally caused by socks, shoes or foreign bodies. Humidity also plays an important role as it weakens our skin.

Choosing the height of your socks

We offer 3 lengths of hiking socks. “Short/low” goes slightly above the shoes but under the ankles. “Medium/mid” protect your ankles and stop just above them. These 2 lengths are sized to be worn with low shoes. “Tall/high” are perfect to wear with high-top hiking shoes as they stop just below the calf.

How to correctly select hiking socks

Each of our sock sizes fits 4 shoes sizes (3/5, 6/8, 9/12, 13/15). The benefit of the elastane qualities in our socks is that they adapt well to your foot and stay in place. We all have different size feet, in length, proportion and volume: that's why it’s important to try on your socks before going hiking

Warranty

Our hiking socks are guaranteed for 2 years. Our commitment? To offer you long-lasting products that you can use on all your hikes. Because the products we love the most are those which have shared great adventures with us and will continue to do so!

Product testing

All our socks are tested in the lab and in the field to validate the following: toxicology, UV resistance, resistance to abrasion, accelerated ageing and resistance to repeated washing. At the foot of the Mont Blanc, in France, our design team imagines, draws and designs Quechua socks. We hit as many footpaths as possible, in all weathers, with other hikers, to check their comfort and durability
